I recently bought a Synology DiskStation DS213J. To use Triode's excellent Spotify plugin, I had to do the following (which was based on information in this thread):
1) spotifyd (or rather its incarnation spotifydnoflac) would only start after copying libspotify to nas> ls -la /usr/lib/libspo* -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2022336 Jan 1 19:58 /usr/lib/libspotify.so.10 2) Setting the option "Alway use helper app for streaming" to "on". After the above two steps, even after a reboot I can stream from Spotify to my synched Radio and Touch. Before I did 2), I could listen stream from Spotify to SqueezePlay, but not the hardware players. BTW, the .../IO/autosplit.ix is also missing on my system of course, but with these steps, spotifydnoflac seems to do the job well. @Triode: I would appreciate if you could explain: a) Why I had to do 2) b) What exactly the difference of spotifyd and spotifydnoflac are. Are there any disadvantages of running "only" spotifydnoflac? Thanks, Mo ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mo5265654's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56730 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
