Right... I agree, I like the old way better and yes it's because of how weather.com is now presenting their data. Each placeholder in their page used to automatically shift throughout the day and instead now they stay the same and become that 'observed' stuff. I could probably try to simulate the behavior, but I first want to at least get the content working for everyone.
