Thanks for this suggestion. I did have some .m3u playlists strewn about, and a set of old iTunes .xml & .itdb files were in the path. Setting these aside and escanning everything did seem to eliminate the empty albums on iPeng for my iPad. But the duplicate Album Art remains for many albums. I searched for several of these duplicate tracks on my Mac Mini Server and can only find one of each track. So I'm not sure where the duplicates are coming from. I have narrowed this down to the specifics, so possibly with a bit more help from you folks I can get this figured out.
