Please try to disable the "ShorBriefly" popups in the settings (today you can just click them away but I don't know whether that works in 1.5.3). > > It tends to crash as I'm clicking buttons on the app, for example while > listening to a radio station it may crash when I click the 'back' button > on the top left of the app. Or as I'm drilling down the hierarchy of > internet radio station classifications. But please try disabling the popups, they have had a serious issue in some earlier iPeng versions. > > The only reason I've got the iPod is to control my Squeezeboxes using > iPeng. The comment was meant to target some background audio Apps you can get from Cydia that can interfere with iPeng or generally Apps running in the background on older devices. App Store Apps should usually not cause trouble, there was one audio App (forgot the name) that did but it was also permanently running in the background so it's only about newer iPod models (yours can't run App Store Apps in the background). That's why I asked for the jailbreak. The jailbreak itself is not a problem (unless you want to access In-App-Purchases) but doing a jailbreak you can run Apps in the background and these _can_ cause trouble. > > I'd be very happy to provide some sort of logs if you could give me some > instructions how to get them. > Well, that won't help a lot since I can't fix old versions anyway and I'm not completely sure I still have debug data for these old versions around. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
