Thanks for the replies everyone. I do not mind paying a samll fee, so I will give Philip Meyer's and Elland's plugin's a go.
With regard to the various settings in Spicefly Sugarcube, I agree that it could possibly be my settings that are causing problems but if that is the case I cannot for the life of me understand why on;y a few albums from the 60's are included along with a random few others and I have moved the settings around. What I really liked about spicefly sugarcube when I first used it was that I didn't have to do ANY tweaking - it just kinda worked - and worked well too.
