I have now done a series of tests as methodically and carefully as I can. Fishbone is OK. FishboneCB isn't. In every case with the latter, if I change track whilst it is playing the 'now playing' track info at the top doesn't change (except the timeline bar), even though the new track is playing. If I reload the frame (using Chrome right click on the right hand pane) it loads the correct data. That means I do have a manual fix for this, so it's not too much of an issue.
Once again, apologies for messing you about and time you have wasted. I will try to stop posting until I really am sure about stuff. It's too tempting to ask for help rather than bash away on one's own.
