RS232 would be way more work and probably not totally worth it. If the major functions of turning the unit on/off, adjusting the volume and perhaps sending some setup commands to get the receiver on the right channel, audio format etc would that be enough? If we kept it minimal like above it might be achievable. My biggest question now would where to store the IR codes. Since there is only potentially 5 above (assuming that a receiver has the ability to reset its configuration with one command like the Denon does), this could probably be done via the Web Gui on the plugin. If it gets much more than that it would require a file of codes and that is very problematic to maintain/adjust. -- Aesculus Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aesculus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14876 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60114 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
