So I've installed the svcpowercontrol plugin and copied the two .exe
files to the system32 folder.

When I try to "awaken" my squeezebox receiver via the controller, the
computer running squeezebox server wakes up, which is awesome. But,
the controller goes from bright blue to red, then no light (although I
can see that the receiver is connected via squeezebox server). And the
computer returns a "can't find svcpowercontrol.exe" dialog box.

After shutting down the controller (hold home button) and a combination
of resetting the receiver and checking status in squeezebox server, it
will start working again.

Having barely mastered copying the files onto the machine, I'm sure
there is an easy answer.

So:
1) where to copy .exe files so that computer can find them?
2) could the server computer's failure to find these files be the cause
for the receiver resetting?
3) should this be as easy as picking up the controller, "connecting" to
the server library and listening to music?

Squeezebox server 7.5.2 r31362
svcpowercontrol ver20090615 - didn't adjust any of the settings in the
control panel, ran the restart alarm test and it worked without an
error
windows 7 desktop
duet receiver / controller
wireless setup through belkin pre-n router

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
