OK, just to recap: you are unable to save either the label or the
command in the settings.  You put them in, press the "apply" button, and
both the label and the command disappear.

I can't say that I'm seeing this.  On my mac mini running snow leopard,
with today's SBS 7.4.1, that label and the command with either escaped
spaces or quotes saves just fine.

It won't execute, however...that I'll acknowledge.  I'll adapt PeterW's
code from KidsPlay to parse the command string so that we get an
executable string.

One final question: is your script 'caffeine on' with '2' as an
argument, or is it 'cafffeine on 2'?
