mplayer -v -v -v -af volume=0,resample=44100:0:1,channels=2 -ao pcm:waveheader:file=output3.wav rtsp://rmlive.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlive/ev7/live24/radio2/live/r2_dsat_g2.ra I guess this is not checking stdout. This is the bit I am confused about. I am not exactly sure how this transcoding and the stdout option actually works. How does the AlienBBC output link to SC? I would appreciate a brief expanation and the commands to use to check stdout is working. Thank you for your help.
