Exactly the same problem with favorites.opml and infobrowser.opml, but... Triode - you hit the nail on the head with your question:
"Can you manually create a file with content in this folder when running as the squeezecenter user?" Answer = yes, but they have a file length of zero. So the problem was with the filesystem - turned out that it was full if looked at by a normal user, but still had enough free space for the superuser to access it. I hadn't noticed since the latter is what I'd been doing when poking about in it... So: freed some space, stopped squeezecenter, deleted the .opml files, restarted squeezecenter and hey presto, everything works. How to spend 5 days fixing a problem I should have spotted in 5 minutes - never mind. Thanks both for your help - I'd still have been scratching my head without it. -- ianc ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ianc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3481 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47123 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
