The mute does not really work well on CastBridge because LMS lacks the notion of mute (toward it's players). To mute, it sends a volume command with level set to 0. I've added an option so send a mute command to LMS when detected on the CC, but that will not have much impact (today, mute is simply ignored). Regarding your "Moby Dick" issue, I have an interesting feedback on stackoverflow where someboyd rightfully pointed out that the socket should be in FIN_WAIT2 state at that moment, and this state has *NO* timeout. So if Windows timeouts, it's a bug. Difficult to believe, but our use case is uncommon and this might be why it's not very visible.
