Thanks for the reply. I checked the mp3 and WMAL settings in my custom-conf file and its exactly the same as you sent out. While playing around more, I can see the equalizer working for WAV or FLAC files types. However, it has no effect for Spotty (Spotify) streaming. Spotty plays too loud and bass heavy which I wanted to equalize.
