I have a feeling that here in France we seem to get (both on a BBC web stream on my laptop, and via Sounds on LMS) some extraneous messages that the UK doesn't get ...... It's happened several times that I've heard technical announcements that are not heard in the UK. Either some kind of Beeb finger trouble, or a bug whereby whover is testing the messages for future use is unaware that they somehow sneak though the non-UK feeds (or get activated when a listener's connection originates outside the UK)......... I heard the message again today, saying that the evening programming will not be "the usual", but "selections from BBC Sounds".
