LMS is designed for use within a local LAN - not for remote access.
However, if you can get safe remote access to your LAN then it can work. The "classic" way to achieve this was to run a VPN server on your home network and then access that. However, a potentially easier thing to do is to use TailScale. For an example - see https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?116540-Using-LMS-outside-of-your-house-using-tailscale However, it is still not trivial. If you cannot get it to work then probably reply to that TailScale thread rather than here since it is a general networking issue rather than specifically related to SB Player.
