I also listen to "The Newsagents" podcast (excellent, isn't it!) and I also noticed that an episode was not appearing, which was a bit irritating in these fast moving politics times! Unfortunately it wasn't at a time I could investigate. There is only a bit of caching going on in the plugin when you view a podcast list (for 10 minutes) The plugin is going via the Global API which is the direct route (and the same as their mobile app), so i'm not sure why it would be different. It could be that I need to put something in the url to stop webcaching at their end. I'll keep an eye out to try and investigate, or you could prod me again when you notice it happening and I'll see if I can trace it through to confirm.
