I also have problem with spotty 4.8.4 (I think)
I'm running HomeAssistant on a raspberry pi 3B then I'm running the logitech media server in home assistant on the same raspberry pi 3B then I have made 2 SqueeseESP32 speakers that should connect to Logitech Media server (LMS). the SqueezeESP32 run version I2S-4MFlash.16.1223.master-v4.3 then I run Spotify premium on my android phone. when I search for speakers on the android Spotify app I see 4 speakers (this is not the problem this is correct) each speaker is reported twice, once by itself, and once by LMS. When I connect with my android Spotify app to the speaker directly all works fine. When I skip, the speaker skip. When I stop, the speaker stop. Next I connect with my android Spotify app to the speaker via LMS. This is where the fun starts. When is skip the speaker gets out of sync. the app will be playing the current song, but the speaker will play the previous song. I know I can just connect to the speaker directly but i want to use LMS because I want to use the synchronize feature where the 2 speakers play the same song at the same time. There is a group plugin that does this for me, it works, keeping the 2 speakers in sync. Back to the 1 speaker problem. I have also installed the material skin for LMS. This has nothing to do with my problem BUT I can select Spotify on the main page and browse and somewhere there is a button that said transfer_xx (I can't remember the rest) but it transfers control back to the phone and then all of a sudden LMS update to play the song the phone said it is playing. Can someone help with settings or suggestions to my problem.
