There has been some recent discussion in the Material Skin thread about some issues that seem to be related to RNP. In brief, the issue is that when some stations are in the current play queue, either waiting to be played or previously played, but not currently playing, LMS displays incorrect times (elapsed time and remaining time) for the currently playing track or stream. Paul, you requested a log for this sort of occasion, and one should be attached. It begins at 14:58:45 when I added a station (Radio Swiss Jazz) to be played next. After RSJ began to play, I added another station (CRo Jazz) to be played next after RSJ. I also added another station, Jazz24, to the end of the play queue, but I do not see it reflected in the log. At about 15:16:40 I stopped RSJ and started CRo Jazz playing. At about 15:19 I stopped CRo Jazz and continued playing local files that were already in the queue. As the local files played, LMS continued to display elapsed and remaining time for them as though an hour-long program were playing. Also, the current_title tag reported by LMS via the command line interface continued intermittently showing "Jazz Club," the title of the program on CRo Jazz. At about 15:28 I removed the previously-played stations from the queue. After the local file that was playing at that time ended, the displayed times reverted to showing the correct times for the current track. As Jim (Redrum) said when he brought the issue up recently, it is not a crucial matter. My earlier report mentioned persistent issues that could continue after the problem stations were removed from the queue, but I have not seen that happen recently. Most people will probably never see this, as stations are more frequently played than appended to the queue. Like Jim, I sometimes use the queue as a set of temporary presets, allowing me to easily switch between different stations.
