I seem to be getting symptoms like this from time to time. There doesn't seem to be any kind of pattern I'm afraid. Running Spotty 4.8 on RPI4 running piCore 8.1. I don't use connect so I'm using Material Skin most of the time to play playlists via my desktop PC running Windows 10. Every so often a track just stops with the timeline jumping around. Pressing the play/pause button does nothing with it stuck on play but with no sound. Advancing to the next track seems to sort it and the playlist will carry on normally and may not fail again or sometimes it fails on the next track. All very strange but not a massive problem, it's a great system.
