I have installed Tidal on LMS/squezebox and control it using Squeezebox app on my android phone. Works good. I am glad with my dac and simply wanted to transmit aother audio content through existing dac, also from other app via chromecast. I know that I can connect directly chromecast audio to my amplifier but i this case i would have to switch the sources ( I do not have selector or preamp including it).
