I have now made a beta 0.0.14a that includes a change for this issue
with very old Perl on MAC.
It seems to still work with the more recent Perl on pCP.
To try the equivalent out if you do not have the beta repo then make a
small change to
<lms>/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/RadioNowPlaying/Plugin.pm
and put a # at the start of line 842 that currently shows

and stop / start LMS.
