In terms of seeking : When using material on pc/ Firefox browser seeking works perfectly fine, but as soon as I use Android apk playback stops as you described it. BTW after it stops I can actually click progress bar on browser and it will seek and resume playback So it looks like a smth to do with APK.. If I remember correctly apk it's just wrapper so maybe it's webview issue..
