No need to change. It can reduce writes to your SD card - which might help increase its lifespan or perhaps on a restoration from uncontrolled power failure. However, I suspect a lot of people do not move it and they have no problems. Take a backup to cover the possibility of issues in the future and then when it does go wrong you can kick yourself for not having taken a backup more recently.
