Whilst I do not use any multi-account services, so not personally affected by this, the idea that an account is linked to a device is (to me at least) counter intuitive. Bit like LMS's virtual libraries, or browse modes. I can see whay you might want to set a default account for a device, so that (e.g.) a kid's device would have their setup and account on the hardware-UI for that device. But in a modern systm where you use 1 controller (e.g. Material, iPeng, Squeezer, etc) to control multiple devices this makes no sense. The controller should know about accounts and send the account id, or whatever, with each request. I guess ideally LMS needs a way to define users - then each user could have a Spotify account, BBS Sounds account, etc. Users could also have individual favourites, playlists, etc. Probably never going to happen, but would be (to me anyhow) more user-friendly. *Material debug:* 1. Open console tab in developer tools 4.
