Well spotted! You have described exactly what I do, swipe up/down slowly on album art on screen to adjust volume. I had the phones side volume buttons set up to also adjust the volume but I found that it interfered with anything playing back on the phone at the same time so I switched it off. I may be best to turn of screen swiping and rely on the on screen vol buttons in that case. Thanks for your help.
