I am not usually in the room where the receiver is when only Zone 2 turns on, and I didn't realize that the receiver SEEMS to be starting the main zone before starting Zone 2. But in fact the main zone doesn't start up unless you toggle the standby. So the plug in does exactly what I want; it will turn on Zone 2 only whenever I turn on the SB Touch attached to the receiver.
