The annoying thing is without the "-a :::0" squeezelite looks like it is working. A slimproto command to change volume show on a log "-d slimproto=info" so squeezelite looks normal - just that playing never starts playing output. By enabling "-d output=info" it shows squeezelite cycles (very fast) re-trying to open the output device and failing.
