The log can be found in the plugin settings page (see LMS settings, tab advanced). If you have noise at other frequencies than 44.1 it means that resampling does not work and it's very likely because your system is missing the sox resampler. You can use the "static" version of the binary helper. I'll push another version later today that tells LMS that sample rate is limited to 44100 when sox resampler cannot be loaded, so that LMS can take care of resampling.
