Thanks, Ronnie. I was still missing a few of those and wouldn't have known about them otherwise. I really should have known about libmad0, though. The AirPlay bridge user guide is clear about that. I just overlooked that part and assumed that since Lame was installed, mp3 files should play. With these additions installed, the bridge seems to be working with the normal binary now, but my testing is very limited so far. (It's still early for me.) For my original question, after examining the raspi-config script, I can confirm that wait for network on boot is enabled. The file /etc/systemd/system/dhcpcd.service.d/wait.conf exists and contains what it should. I can only guess that either it's being ignored or more delay is needed. On boot, the bridge log contains: Code: -------------------- Start:1305 Binding to 127.0.0.1 -------------------- It doesn't bind to the Pi's external IP until I restart it. And the server log reports: Code: -------------------- Slim::Utils::IPDetect::_init (138) Warning: Couldn't call connect() - falling back to 127.0.0.1 -------------------- I will certainly provide detailed logs, but I suspect I need to enable some additional options first.
