The podcast list comes from a BBC URL. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/opml/bbc_podcast_opml.opml I suspect this URL and the "programmes" URL are pre RMS (the API BBC Sounds uses) and as such are leftovers and so haven't been fully integrated into Sounds. That said, there is still a BBC podcast page ( https://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts ) and "Adam and Joe" are searchable from this site https://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts?q=Adam+and+Joe and produces same list of downloadable podcasts that you found.
