A quick update on the short tracks issue - I can now play all tracks on Wire's Pink Flag. I'm not sure if this is down to an update in the spotify app or to your recent update to spotty.
Interesting: I doubt you're "Allen" on Github, but he posted a similar report in librespot's issue on github less than 30 minutes ago.

Unfortunately, spotty also seems to be crashing a bit more than usual and spotty stops for no apparent reason more often - when I get a bit of time, I'll dig into these further to see if I can identify a trigger for either issue (there hasn't been anything obviously repeatable yet).
I'm working on getting the spotty helper up to date with librespot's latest code. Hopefully this will bring us a bit more stability too.
