Thank you for the caveats, bpa, and my apologies if I am encouraging an increase in your support burden! To be clear, I'm not suggesting manual creation of favourites - all mine were created in the GUI in the usual way, but I totally take your point that the resulting stored link is not as robust (as demonstrated this week!) as favourites created from, for example, local flac files. Many of mine have worked for years with no manual editing, though.
But this is interesting. Do you get any say in the way the favourites are produced when you are the parser? I find favourites really useful, not only to re-find series that are tucked away in multi-page results but also to remember the various series I'm listening to. It seems that storing just the PID and feeding that to a "BBCiPlayerExtra::ExtraPlayerPIDParser", if such a thing exists (or can easily be produced), could be more robust. I've been curious about parsing just PIDs for another reason, because I often find things to listen to on my PC. Would it be feasible to have an input box on one of the higher-level menu entries that took a PID (or more straightforwardly for users, a whole BBC URL) and returned a programme or series? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ BobSammers's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66026 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
