I just upgraded to LMS7.9.2 (from 7.7) after BBC iPlayer live radio would no longer stream without major connection problems and grievous stammer. Alas, no change in behaviour. Frequent pauses "Rebuffering 5%". Stumbled upon this thread and am surprised to find it talking about "V1.6 (and higher)" since Dec 2018 (!) when even the latest LMS repository still ships with 1.3.1. I followed the instructions in post #1 to get my hands on the latest iPlayer release and am happy to report that Radio One is playing nicely again as I type this post.
Happy New Year. And thanks for all your hard work. Really. I noted recently that I apparently joined this forum in 2005. This would have been some time after I purchased my first Slim Player. That is now 15 years ago. Which other piece of internet tech from 15 years ago is today still on your network? In that time, the BBC in particular has morphed its protocols umpteen times, often around this time of year. Without the open Slim architecture and your continued application to keep the iPlayer plugin up to date, my Slim players would have bitten the dust a long time ago. Keep up the good work.
