I have hit a similar problem on my Windows 10 machine when I updated to Spotty 2.8.6 When I updated the plugin I had evidently left a large Spotify playlist in one of my Duets, and the CMD prompt windows just continued until LMS crashed. Clearing out the cached player playlists in -C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\prefs- enabled things to run again smoothly, but now if I try to play a saved local playlist that contain Spotify tracks, the continuous CMD prompts appear and I have to repeat the process of clearing the cached playlist to be able to get things running again. This is what I see in the server.log before LMS falls over.
