Seems to me that a new app is needed if that were possible. However, presumably it would require co-operation from Amazon who may be less helpful than Spotify was.
The alternative may have to be to use Phillipe's Airplay app and stream Amazon Music from a phone or tablet to the Squeezebox. That would not be very elegant but perhaps Hobson's choice.
