It should store the last player in your browser's local storage. Just
tried, and this is working for me. However, if you have set your browser
to clear cookies and local storage - then the setting will be removed.
You can, however, pass a player's mac or name as a URL parameter. e.g.

http://SERVER:9000/material/desktop?player=Bedroom
--------------------
If your player's name has spaces of special characters, then these will
need to be encoded.
