I don't regulary test on iOS devices - but my wife does have an iPhone and iPad. The editing did work at some point, and I see no reason for it to no longer work - but I can check later to confirm. You have to press and hold an item for about 1, or 1.5, seconds before it will become draggable. Does this not work?
