Hi,
I recently migrated my LMS instance from a 2011 Mac mini running 10.13 to a new Mac mini running 10.14. I have a Squeezebox Radio, a Touch, as well as an Apple home pod and a couple of Apple TVs. Prior to the move I had been able to use Airplay Bridge to make music happen everywhere. Unfortunately, I can no longer play mp3 files on the Apple devices. I can play other files (flac and aac) on the Apple devices, and can play mp3 files on the Logitech devices. I installed LAME (https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/utility/lame-3.99.5-osxhs.tar.gz/download) into /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/server/Bin/darwin-x86_64/ The audio settings page for all of the players indicate that LAME is installed correctly.
