I was a little bit stumbled today as I started to playing music at home by mistake from work on my iphones Spotify client via 3G. I can even switch between my players. This i cannot do with wifes phone (android) with wifi turned off. As i expect not to be possible. I thought the Spotify client was using wifi/bluetooth to connect. We have a family account and have two separate accounts registered with spotty.
Spotty does connect to the Spotify servers - which would see your players, too. But if your wife is using a different account (family member), then she would only see "her" players outside your home, not those connected to your account. Those are only visible in your LAN.
