I understand that there will always be some delay, I was just wondering of the ways to make it as small as possible. I measure this delay between the time when I hit play button in Spotify UI (on phone or laptop) and the time when music actually starts to play.
Oh, that's not even what I was assuming. That time has been reported to be too long in some cases. But it's not to be expected. It really depends on several factors. The most obvious might be the operating system and hardware you're running LMS/Spotty on (CPU, memory, network). What are you using?
The option "Optimize Pre-Buffering" didn't seem to change anything. I launch squeezelite using -a 80:32:32:1 option on SA RP device, could that be a problem?
No, it's more about the buffer sizes (defined using -b). -- Michael _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
