I can currently only see Squeezebox within the Spotify client when the Squeezebox is connected to the relevant spotify account. Is this connected to the 'Don't announce Squeezebox players' check box? I've tried checked and unchecked.
Yes, it is. If that box is checked, then what you see is expected behaviour. With it unchecked, you should see any Spotify Connect capable player in your Spotify application. IF the application is running on a device on the same network as those players and Spotty isn't being blocked by some firewall.
