I'm sorry I must have missed this issue. I thought there was that issue
where after you paused the stream upon resume you might get an
unexpected track change. Didn't know there was something else - and
certainly not about the Windows implication...

Running LMS on a Pi3(+) has been a smooth experience for myself. I
started using piCorePlayer for this after I didn't get Spotty to run on
my ageing NAS. It just works.
