I have not confirmed this restriction exists for the Store version of Squeezelite-X. (Did you try it?) I have read UWP apps have this sort of restriction, but Squeezelite-X is not really a UWP app, but rather a desktop bridge app, so I *think* you will be fine with either one. I just have not confirmed one way or the other. But certainly there is no such restriction with the legacy installer. If you are running Windows 10, I would recommend the Store version over the legacy installer. It seems to initialize a little faster, and updates are easier.
