Yes. Both audio and video chromecasts previously worked for flac and DASH/AAC. My usage of Chromecasts has declined over time. I have one connected to a TV that has optical output to a sound system and and audio cc connected to a speaker in my garage. I haven't been spending much time in the garage over the winter but when the weather (finally) improves the audio cc may get more use.
