I think the number is lowish but service is v. highly rated by most - Dr. Who game has about 3.5k but only 1 star compared to Concert Sound 1.2k but a rating of about 4.5stars. Binaural has only 135 ratings. I don't think rights issue is a problem given that BBC is broadcasting all of Radio 3 in flac for 2 months. I think the issue is longer term is additional cost and required bandwidth and is there enough users enabled and wanting to listen to a flac stream. The pilot in Mar/April could only really be played in Firefox. Now in addition to browser there are version of vlc, ffmpeg as well as LMS that can play Dash/Flac. BBC should also be able to determine the number of individuals who have listened using Dash Flac. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106409 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
