@Seb: I must disagree with you. I'm using max2play on a RPi2 with 7.9 nightly and the Google Music plugin works fine with the plugin after having altered http to https in the ProtocolHandler.pm. Actually, the https-problem only occurred to me after a recent LMS update. Strange...
