Yes, this behaviour is annoying but I believe it is intentional in the
current design of SlimServer, I’m afraid. Once you press RIGHT on the
artist search results you’re into the standard ‘browsedb’ SlimServer
mode keyed on that arist and so I would expect to see the same odd
behaviour if you find this artist through the top-level “Browse
Music->Browse Artists” menu on your player.

The good news is that, once you’ve found these ‘problem’ albums with
the same name as an album by a different artist you can let SlimServer
know, then the problem should go away.

The trick is to go to the “Server Settings–>Behaviour” page on the
SlimServer web interface and scroll down to the “Common Album Titles”
section. If you add your album title in one of the blank text boxes
there and turn on the “Specifiy a list of Common Album Titles” checkbox
in the same group then the problem should go away.

You need to clear the library and rescan for these changes to take
effect though, I’m afraid.
