there's been enough buzz around ipv6 lately that i figured i'd better
start playing with it right away to be fully prepared for later.

i got a tunnel from hurricane electric, and set up my nas with radvd to
lease out addresses within my subnet.

everything seems to be working properly, and i can see my inet6 addr in
ifconfig when i'm on a client (my laptop).

what's strange about it is that i can only connect to ipv6 hosts
(ipv6.google.com) if i drop the firewall on the router...

for the life of me i cannot find a decent guide on how to keep the
firewall up and permit the routed traffic...

any advice on what may be going wrong?

thanks in advance,

nathan w
