Most of the VMs in our office runs on VMWare Server 1.x on 32-bit and 64-bit Ubuntu hosts. Been running them for years. Backing them up using ye old tar.
I have a few (<5) VMs running under KVM (64-bit Ubuntu 10.04 host). Long term, I'm looking at eventually migrating all VMs to KVM. --- mike t. ----- Original Message ---- > From: Michael Janapin <michael.jana...@gmail.com> > To: Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Technical Discussion List ><plug@lists.linux.org.ph> > Sent: Tuesday, November 23, 2010 10:17:55 > Subject: [plug] Virtualization Solution > > Hello fellow pluggers, > > Since I hibernated for a while, I'm quite lost when I awoke from my long > sleep >from techie world. > > Bizarre metaphors aside, I'm thinking of using a virtualization solution for >our office computers here.
