Some of the server quite fit to the dvd since some of them are not more than 20GB. I just need to clone and then recover it.

Or anyone doing this? what kind of cloning do you need? do you want to *boot* from the DVD or CD? or is it sufficient to just backup the drive and you'll extract later? what OS? not that i know what the solutions are for you (i've seen mondo backup, and there are ghost-alikes for linux), but i've not used them since none of my drives are small enough to fit on a DVD and I don't enjoy making ten or twenty DVDs to backup one HD. I just backup to an external USB drive via rdiff-backup. tiger -- Gerald Timothy Quimpo [EMAIL PROTECTED] Business Systems Development, KFC/Mr Donut/Ramcar I wish that I had control over which version was being used, but my sysadmin powers are inversely proportional to the computing power made available to me. -- Reuven M Lerner, on pgsql-general _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List plug@lists.linux.org.ph (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph ____________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
